Hello again...

...from London and welcome to Timescape Tours. We run a personal bespoke service providing some of the best traveller experiences available, from day trips out of London to full or half-day London tours, all with your own private tour guide.

Whether you are cruising around the City in one of our iconic Black Cabs or enjoying a day trip to the Cotswolds from London in an executive class saloon, you will be accompanied by your own knowledgeable, fully qualified, properly licenced and insured driver-guide.

If it's the best place to buy your Tower of London tickets, advice on airport transfers or even what to wear for a particular trip we are quick to respond and happy to help.

Local knowledge is key to running a good day out and not being part of a crowd means we can build the day around your personal needs and interests.

The best day trips from London are those we plan ourselves. We could, for example, set out for Windsor Castle or perhaps Stonehenge and Bath but, should we decide, skip Bath altogether and see the wonderful Lacock Abbey or Salisbury Cathedral instead. We can stop for lunch at a place you chose or somewhere we already know well and of whose quality we are sure.

Most UK tours include a castle or grand house but other imaginative options can be added. How about our lovely Hampton Court Palace with Thames river boat picnic; exploring Henry VIII’s Tudor Palace followed by a cruise of the historic waterway on one of its vintage riverboats - quite possibly one of the ‘little ships’ that saved the British Army from Hitler’s clutches at Dunkirk. We provide you with a classic English picnic basket to enjoy as you drift down the Thames past some of the capital’s most picturesque houses before delivering you back to your hotel.

Private London tours could include the grandness of St Paul’s or Westminster Abbey, famous sites such as Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square or secret hidden-away spots like the Mayflower on the Thames, the Inn from which the little ship herself set sail before calling in at Plymouth to complete her complement of pilgrims. Perhaps grab a photo opportunity in Notting Hill among the brightly painted houses favoured by London’s glitterati, or even drop by at Jimi Hendrix and Frideric Handel’s houses, next door to one another in Mayfair but 200 years apart in time and now a museum.

The great thing about having your own personal guide is that of course everybody gets to be in the picture, as we can take them for you. It’s good to make momentos of a day tailor-made to be memorable!

As this is a bespoke service please feel free to get in touch and either suggest places you’d like to string together into a private tour, or tell us about your interests and let us build the day around you.

We can design your tour around anything - it could be a famous person from history, say Winston Churchill or Henry VIII, or perhaps an historic event like World War Two. We are here to show you both the splendour and the history of this ancient country, and to deliver it professionally, in style and comfort.
